Meadow Chevre is our blended, spreadable chevre. We make it two flavors: a sweet flavor mixed with crystalized ginger, almonds, and honey, and a savory flavor mixed with sun-dried tomatoes, roasted garlic, and herbs de Provence.

The Ginger, Almonds, and Honey Meadow Chevre is a sweet delight. We find ourselves eating it most often at breakfast spread on brioche or a croissant. It is also a favorite at dessert time, when we most often use it as pastry filling under fruit cooked in sweet wine. Yum.

The Sundried Tomato, Roasted Garlic, and Herbs Meadow Chevre is terrific at lunch or dinner. We find ourselves spreading it on sandwiches with grilled meats, or mixing it directly into a batch of cooked penne pasta for a "fast-food" meal at the farm.

Meadow Chevre is not aged. It generally takes us 3-4 days to make and package this fresh chevre and it is not uncommon to have it in the market within a week's time.

Meadow Chevre is like other blended and spreadable cheeses, and can be used as a versatile and easy ingredient at your table.

Both the sweet and savory flavors are easily frozen; we bring them to our Farmer's Markets frozed to ensure they stay in their best condition. Once thawed, these blended chevres should be refrigerated at all times.
